I led both pitches. A brilliant route throughout, either pitch would be worth 3 stars in its own right. The line in the Rockfax topo is wrong, after the traverse right on the top pitch, stay on the buttress until you get to the V-groove (topo shows it going right before then).

The vinyl-based Dusty Fingers series is intended for sample hounds and lovers of the obscure. It searches high, low, and most imaginable points between for sample-ready material, whether it's oddball orchestral pop, rare groove, or a bizarre Italian film score. One slightly unnerving characteristic of the series is that short snippets -- typically just the break -- are occasionally provided instead of the full versions (thankfully this doesn't happen too often). Several series have provided a similar service, but few have dug this deep with such positive results. The sixth volume includes Nick Ingman 's "Under Pressure," Absolute Elsewhere 's "Future Past," Ed Scogillera's "Compression," Dick Walter 's "Silhouettes," Jerry Goldsmith 's "Crossing the Border," Eric Delaney's "Big Noise From Winnetka," Travis Biggs ' "Tibetan Serenity," and Churchill 's "Here We Are."
